Not a Single Doubt 2 year old Twelve Rounds has started his career in style with a brilliant all the way victory in strong 2 year old company at Belmont on Saturday. Jumping from barrier 1 and perfectly ridden by Craig "Bullet" Staples, the gelding showed real potential with a great turn of foot that left many of the chasers floundering, As would have been expected in his first ever run he was getting a little tired on the line, however, he showed great tenacity to fight off the even money favourite.
The run certainly augurs well for the future and justified the comments that he looked like a 2 year old runner when he was picked out at the yearling sale last year. We look forward to seeing more excitement from him in coming weeks!
