Super Eighty Eight has delivered his first Saturday metro win over 1200m at Ascot yesterday.  Perfectly ridden by Jarrad Noske, the Sebring 3 year old gelding showed a great turn of foot off a hot early pace to kick away at the turn and hold on by a long neck at his second start from a spell.

It was a great result for "Super's" loyal group of owners (many of whom are first-timers) and a credit to the Gangemi Racing team who added a tongue bit to help the gelding settle and demonstrate the talent that we all knew he possessed.

The "Super" cheer squad was in full voice and celebrations were heard all over Ascot when he crossed the line.  Super has now got a very good record of 2 wins and a 2nd from 7 starts and took his earnings over $52,000.
