Rock Magic has produced a sensational run at Belmont today to record his first win in WA at only his second start. After a great first-up 2nd "Rocky" produced an exceptional effort sitting wide over 1000m and kicking on under hard riding by Brad Parnham from 8th at the turn to hold off a number of classsy sprinters in excellent time.
It was drinks all round for a number of new and old owners as "Rocky" delivered on the sort of promise he demonstrated in his Sydney races – he was expertly picked out by the stable for purchase from Arrowfield Stud and is sure to provide a lot of excitement in coming months..
