West Africa (Henry) broke a long run of placings for the stable with a great all the way win at Bunbury today over 1200m. Fired out from barrier 3 by Brad Parnham, Henry set a solid pace and held off all the challengers in a performance that demonstrated a lot of fight.
Henry has been working well and recent performances indicated that he was close to a win. He has a lot of potential and today's win will hopefully give him the confidence to go on to bigger and better things. It was a great result for a top group of owners and was the first winner for some of them.
