It was another best on ground performance with Three Votes (Gazza) first across the line and daylight to second at Belmont yesterday. Having his second start back after being gelded, the son of Fastnet Rock made it back-to-back wins in emphatic style.

In the words of the commentator he "propelled" out of the barriers and then ran them along before clearing away from the field down the straight before easing down in a very slick time of 58.1s for the 1000m. He is certainly providing great excitement for a fantastic group of loyal owners.

Gazza will now move on to Saturday company shortly with a longer term plan to tackle some of the bigger sprint races during the Perth Summer Carnival.
