The addition of winkers and 3 week break between runs has done the trick as Bourne Supremacy (Jason) made short work of a class field of sprinters at Ascot over 1000m on Saturday.

Patiently ridden by Jarrad Noske, Jason settled down midfield on the rails as a cracking speed was set up front. When he pulled him off the fence as they came into the straight he let down brilliantly and put a space on them in a sizzling time of 57.5secs for the trip, coming home in his last 600m in 33.2secs.

The time and the quality of the field certainly reinforced the belief the stable has in this Snitzel gelding (from the outstanding mare Covertly).
